In Oregon, Basque people came initially from the gold fields of California and then directly from their European homeland. They settled in the Jordan Valley and later spread throughout eastern Oregon, northern Nevada, and western Idaho.
Docent guided tours of the Brown House will also be offered with light refreshments available.
