Fearless Faces: A Menagerie of Misfits | Dayna Collins

After a 14-year hiatus from painting Fearless Faces, Dayna jumped into her month-long artist-in-residence to revisit her colorful faces, using a variety of mixed media materials and techniques. Dayna painted a series of 31 faces on paper, then shifted to painting on birch panels, which she mounted in vintage ornate gold frames. To the delight of Dayna, the cast of characters painted during September reflect the personalities of A Menagerie of Misfits.
